Update: Samsung said in a statement to SamMobile that the teaser for the new Galaxy S25 Ultra color was made in error. No new color variant is being developed or on its way to market.
Original story follows:
Samsung India is teasing an eighth color variant of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was announced with seven color options in January, and Samsung suggests the new color will be the darkest one of all. However, it's unclear if this new color will be a third black variant or a darker version of gray.
We are assuming it's the latter, as there are already two black color options for the Galaxy S25 Ultra: Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Black, with the former available as an exclusive through Samsung's online store. The dark grey S Pen in the teaser image also supports that theory. (The Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Black, and Titanium Gray Galaxy S25 Ultras all come with a light gray S Pen.)
We will just have to wait and see what Samsung has in store for us and whether this eighth Galaxy S25 Ultra color option will make it to other countries as well.
